The definition of a Fan Fiction Narrative is fiction about characters or settings from an original work of fiction weather it's about a book, article, movie or tv show. It is created by fans of that work rather than by its creator. Billions of people who read Fan-Fiction use an app called Wattpad. Anyone can write a story or poem and post it and people can read your work. There have been over two million writers on there and a few people have actually gotten noticed and publish because they posted there stories there. So if you like Fan-Fiction go check it out. Here I will provide links to multiple drafts of my Fan-Fiction Narrative. The course story I used that relates to this narrative is A Good Man is Hard to Find by Flannery O'Conner. The point of view I used in this narrative was third person. I did this because I didn't just want a perspective of just one person for example, the Misfit. I wanted to represent all of their voices and they were thinking, feeling, and saying. I also changed the time setting because I wanted it to be more relatable to people of the now generation. A Good Man is Hard to Find was originally published in 1953 but I set it around now, in 2017. I also used grammatically incorrect words because that is how they talked and how I choose for them to talk. I kind of explored the conflict, character vs self because you see on tv such as the show Prison Break and Orange Is the New Blackgo into their character's backgrounds and stories. Such as like why they are they way they are and how they got to where they are and there not all bad people, just people who got into bad situations or made bad decisions. So go head and click the link below and read my first draft of "Who is the Misfit really?".
